"I wish I had read the reviews first"
I signed up thinking I understood what I was going to be charged, but then the billing hit and the details were really hard to find. Canceling wasn’t very straightforward either, which made the whole thing more frustrating. Maybe I should’ve looked closer, but the pricing and billing info should be much clearer. I definitely regret not reading reviews first

"Refund came through, just felt a little slow"
I did get my refund in the end, so no issues there. Maybe it’s just me, but it felt like it took a bit longer than I expected. Not a huge problem, just something I noticed.
"It connected to everything way easier than…"
It connected to everything way easier than I expected. I was ready for some annoying setup drama, but it just kind of worked, which was great. I mean, I still got a little impatient for no reason, but overall it was super simple and I’m happy with it

"Poor video quality and way too many reminders"
I tried Kinomap for a few rides, but I was disappointed. A lot of the videos I used were shaky, blurry, or just not filmed very well, which made the workout feel more frustrating than enjoyable. Some of the routes also felt outdated and not smooth at all. On top of that, the reminders felt really aggressive, like the app kept pushing me more than I wanted. For something I’m paying for, I expected a much better experience. I ended up cancelling after a short time

"Fun when it stays connected"
I do like using Kinomap, especially when it’s working the way it should. The routes are fun, and it makes indoor riding feel a lot less boring, a lot less repetitive. My main issue is the connection with my bike. Some days it connects right away and everything is fine, and other days it randomly drops in the middle of a workout and I have to restart things, which gets frustrating. It’s not a terrible app, not at all, but the connection problems are annoying enough that I’d give it 3 stars. If that part was more reliable, I’d probably rate it higher
"Still Waiting to Be Heard"
I reached out for help i’m still waiting. It feels like my issue just got brushed aside, which is really frustrating. I wasn’t expecting anything special, just a clear response or some kind of follow-up, but so far it’s felt like I’m being ignored.

"Honestly, it’s been stable"
I’ve used it quite a few times now, it barely ever crashes on me. That alone makes it feel reliable. So far, I’m happy with it

"Pretty accurate tracking most of the time"
I’ve been using Kinomap with my indoor bike for the past few weeks, mostly in the evenings after work when I’m trying to get a ride in before dinner, and the tracking has been solid overall. The speed, distance, and power numbers usually line up closely with what my bike shows, maybe a tiny bit off here and there, but nothing that made me question the whole workout.
I did have one ride where the numbers seemed to lag for a little while, which was kind of distracting since I kept looking down to check it. I was already tired that day, so maybe I noticed it more than usual. It’s not perfect, but for regular training and keeping an eye on progress, it does the job well. I’d give it 4 stars.

"I do like riding along with..."
I do like riding along with the videos but the challenges haven’t really done much for me. After a few days it starts to feel kind of flat and the goals aren’t that exciting. Some rides track fine while others feel a little off. For what it costs I was expecting more of a push to keep me motivated.
"Canceling took longer than I expected. I..."
Canceling took longer than I expected. I had to click around a bit to find the right spot, which felt more annoying compared to other services I’ve used. It did finally go through, but it wasn’t as straightforward as I hoped.

"Interval setup feels like a moving target"
I was just trying to set up a basic interval workout, but it turned into way more hassle than it should’ve been. The options feel limited, and changing the effort blocks or rest times is clunky. Half the time it felt like every time I figured out one part, the app moved the goalposts and something else didn’t save or work right. For a training app, this kind of thing should be simple. I gave it a few tries and eventually just gave up.

"Badges are basically little “participation stickers”"
The badges feel pointless. The rewards barely do anything, so instead of feeling motivated, I’m just sitting there like, cool, another shiny little nonsense badge for the trophy shelf of disappointment

"Login works... when it feels like it"
Most days I can log into my account without any drama, which is all I’m asking for. There was one time it took forever to load, but I guess we all have our little moments. Nothing too serious though — it works fine enough for my rides.

"I used Kinomap for a few weeks the…"
I used Kinomap for a few weeks the concept is cool. The video routes are fun to watch and it makes indoor riding feel less boring, but the training realism just didn’t really land for me. On my trainer, the resistance changes felt delayed sometimes, and other times they came on way too suddenly. climbs didn’t feel like actual climbs either, more like the app just randomly decided to make pedaling harder. Maybe it works better with different bikes or setups, but for me it kind of broke the whole feeling of riding a real route.

"Leaderboards actually feel fair"
I’ve been really enjoying the leaderboards on kinomap because they don’t feel fake or stacked against you. The rankings seem fair, and my results show up right away, which makes it easier to stay motivated. If you’re the kind of person who likes a bit of friendly competition, I’d say give the leaderboards a try, it definitely makes the workouts more fun when you feel like you can trust the results...
"I mostly use kinomap to look back..."
I mostly use kinomap to look back at my rides and check my stats, it does the job most of the time. But does anyone else feel like the workout history is a little messy? I sometimes have a hard time comparing rides or quickly seeing progress. Clearer charts or a cleaner layout would make a big difference. It’s still useful, just feels like it could be better

"Nice community vibe, just caught me at a bad time"
Overall, I really liked the community feel there. The people were friendly and kept me motivated, which helped a lot. I think my experience would’ve been even better if my timing hadn’t been a bit off.

"I mainly signed up for Kinomap because I..."
I mainly signed up for Kinomap because I wanted it to play nicely with the other fitness apps I already use, that has been the biggest disappointment so far. I wasn’t expecting anything fancy or complicated, I just wanted my workouts to sync properly after I finished them, but from the beginning it’s felt like something I have to keep checking and babysitting.
Sometimes the workout doesn’t show up at all, other times it randomly appears hours later, and when it does finally come through, there can be missing stats or incomplete data. I’ve had to disconnect and reconnect the apps more than once, which gets old really fast, especially when doing that still doesn’t reliably solve the problem. It makes the whole thing feel a lot less seamless than it should be.
I did reach out to support, but the suggestions were basic and mostly things I had already tried on my own. For a paid app, I feel like third-party syncing is one of those features that should just work without needing constant troubleshooting. I like the idea of Kinomap, but this part of the experience has been frustrating enough that it really takes away from the rest of it.

"Pretty easy overall, just a couple little quirks"
I’ve been using the app and for the most part it’s really easy to get around. It does what I need without much hassle. The menus can be a little confusing here and there, but every app seems to have some weird menu issue these days. A few small bugs pop up, but nothing that really ruins the experience.

"I’ve been using the live classes..."
I’ve been using the live classes on Kinomap more recently, and I’ve been enjoying them. They’re easy to jump into and follow along with, which makes it more motivating. The only thing is that some of the class times don’t really line up with my schedule, so I miss a few I’d like to take. But based on my recent experience, it’s been working well overall.
